Sabbatical (No, not from this blog)…

This is not what I wanted to do this month, everything was planned so perfectly.  I wanted to celebrate and fondly remember, but all the memories have now soured.  I feel like I’m leaving an old friend behind by doing this, but I just can’t take it anymore.  For 20 years, I’ve been a viewer since the beginning on St Patrick’s Day.  Of those 20 years, I’ve spent 11 years watching, 4 years wishing, and 5 more years watching.

But now I’ve decided to take a break from Toonami…

Before anyone says it, no, it’s not because One Piece is getting yanked from the block.  It’s the last straw, but in all honesty what used to be fun has become a chore to get through just to watch 2 shows a week.  Right now, Toonami is in a state where it lacks any real consistency or any punch to engage…

New Pokémon Duel update now live on iOS and Android, version 4.0.7

A brand-new patch has gone live for Pokémon Duel, bringing the mobile board game to version 4.0.7 across iOS and Android devices. It consists of a content update and various bug fixes. Full patch notes have yet to be revealed, but stay tuned for any updates. Another recent update added Lunala, Chandelure, Decidueye, Mimikyu, Dartrix and more figures.

Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! is now playing at select theaters

It’s officially November 5, which means Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! is now playing at select theaters for a limited time. If you didn’t get a chance to see a showing today, you’ll have another opportunity tomorrow, November 6. Additional showings are also scheduled for November 11 and 14. Attendees can receive a QR Code that will grant you a Pikachu wearing the hat that Ash wears in the movie—Pikachu (Partner Cap). This QR Code is specific to Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon and comes with the Pikashunium Z Z-Crystal, allowing Pikachu to unleash its exclusive Z-Move. The new animated film is the 20th entry in the long-running series, and it also serves as a celebration of all the adventures that Ash and Pikachu have had over the years.
