Technically, I think I can say my life really changed. Since the end of my baccalaureate, resolutions for future plans were made and so I left my home province to go to work in another.

One of the main reasons for this change is that the pay is good, and I need to refund a loan… Plus, I wanted to live some new experiences and I seriously need a change of air. The people around me, the boredom of my old life etc.

Well, as a matter of fact, my social is not really better here. I have no friends in that town, and I don’t really know what to do to enjoy myself. But at last I love my job, and I feel I’m really useful the way I like. I think it’s the first time I’m ever saying that about a job. I thought all jobs were boring and…

Pokémon GO Battle Showdown event now underway, features more Fighting-type Pokémon, Tyrogue hatching from Eggs, bonus XP, Stardust and more

The Pokémon GO Battle Showdown is now underway until 1 p.m. (PDT) on May 14. As part of this in-game event, Fighting-type Pokémon such as Mankey, Machop, Makuhita and Meditite are now appearing in the wild more frequently, and players can watch out for hard-to-find Tyrogue hatching from Eggs more often. You’ll also get double the XP for taking on Gyms and raids. When you interact with a Gym, you’ll get double the XP toward earning a Badge as you usually earn. When you spin the Photo Disc in a Gym, you’ll receive more items than usual. Finally, when you’re successful in a raid, you’re guaranteed to receive a Rare Candy and whether you win or lose, you’ll earn 3,000 Stardust – six times the usual amount.

85-year-old woman killed by driver playing Pokémon GO in Japan

An 85-year-old woman was recently involved in a Pokémon GO-related car accident in Japan. A driver playing Niantic’s immensely-popular mobile game struck the elderly woman, ultimately leading to her death. Unfortunately, incidents such as this one have happened multiple times in the past. It’s another reminder that clearly demonstrates the dangers of playing Pokémon GO – or any other game – while driving. To learn more about this story, click here.
