Players will be able to travel to an enhanced version of the mysterious island of Koholint to guide Link on a perilous adventure. Nintendo confirmed today in the latest Nintendo Direct that they are remaking The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening which appeared on the Game Boy for the Nintendo Switch and it is coming this year. Presumably it’ll be released in the autumn. Take a look at the video down below!
Update: The title of the film is Dragon Quest Your Story
The classic JRPG Dragon Quest V will be getting a special 3D CG movie adaptation in Japan. The Dragon Quest V movie will be directed byTakashi Yamazaki. Mr Yamazaki is best known as having worked on Always Sanchome no Yuhi and the live action Parasyte films. Presumably more information will be divulged at a later date.
Tomorrow will be a big day for Nintendo fans across the globe. It is when the first Nintendo Direct of 2019 will take place, promising major announcements and some unexpected surprises. According to a number of rumors that have been making the rounds, the upcoming presentation will include reveals of Metroid Prime Trilogy, Pikmin 4 and Super Mario Maker 2 for Nintendo Switch. There’s currently no way to confirm the authenticity of these reports, but we’ll all find out whether they’re true starting at 2 p.m. PT tomorrow, February 13.
