Super Smash Bros Ultimate producer Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that he thought of including Decidueye as the new Pokemon character for the excellent Nintendo Switch fighter. Sakurai said he was almost chosen, but he obviously decided to go with the mighty Incineroar in the end.
Nintendo America has revealed today that the well received Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen will be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch platform. The company also released a trailer for the lengthy JRPG to give fans a taste of what to expect when it arrives on 23rd of April. Take a watch below!

You may remember that an animated movie based on the charming Klonoa series was in the works. However, the creator behind the manga, Hitoshi Ariga, has revealed today that the movie has now been canned. Ariga has apologised to fans who were looking forward to the film and couldn’t be specific why the film didn’t come together. The Klonoa film was being produced by Rob Pereyda and the script was written by Ariga.
GamingIntel has received new information from their sources that suggests that another Nintendo Direct is on the way, and it may be closer than you think. According to GamingIntel, “I was told January 10th from one source. This hasn’t been cross checked between sources. Most of my other sources are still undecided on an exact date, but certain of a Nintendo January direct”. The site has been accurate before. They accurately predicted the Smash Bros. Directs, as well as Nintendo’s September 2018 Direct.
You may have seen that the developers behind Super Lucky’s Tale are planning a super surprising announcement. Plenty of speculation has taken place regarding what it could actually be. Well, it turns out it could be a Nintendo Switch port of the game, which would be a good home for the colourful 3D and 2D platformer. The rumour is from two LinkedIn profiles which say that the team has been developing the port for the Switch.
“Concept artist Taylor Smith made mention of Nintendo’s console in resumes. In a couple of CVs, it’s stated that Smith worked on “environment assets for the upcoming Nintendo Switch port.” Gearbox Software outsource manager Jesse Sosa, who was at Playful Corp until the end of 2017, also says he shipped Super Lucky’s Tale on Switch as part of his LinkedIn profile – though it has obviously yet to be released (or officially announced).”

Acclaimed development team Platinum Games are looking forward to an intense 2019. Atsushi Inaba, Development General Manager and Executive Producer, told Japanese site 4Gamer that the company is always striving to create memorable games and that they have various announcements to share with fans over the coming year.
“Next year will be an intense year as usual. It seems like it will be a year where Platinum Games aims to step up a few steps, so I’ll do the best that I can…. If I end it with something safe like that, then my statement won’t be interesting, right? So next year we will make various announcements!”
In just a few days, the January tournament for Mario Tennis Aces will begin. You will be able to unlock Luma as a playable character a month early, but that’s not all. The UK Nintendo Versus Twitter account has revealed that you will be able to unlock Mario and Luigi’s classic overall outfits. The official tweet can be seen down below, so feel free to check it out.
